Our second coffee shop and the natural next step in our evolution. The opening of Midmills marked a turning point in our history. Located in the iconic building of the former Inverness Royal Academy, this venue was born out of the need to bring our artisanal roasting to a space where innovation and tradition come together.
At Midmills, we don’t just serve coffee; we are part of a living ecosystem. We are part of the Inverness Creative Academy, the first major creative hub in the Highlands managed by Wasps Studios. This connection allows us to rub shoulders daily with over 30 local artists, designers and creators who fill every corner of the building with life and inspiration.
In contrast to the vibrant pace of the city centre, Midmills is a haven of calm and collaboration. Located in the former Assembly Hall, our café is the meeting place where the city’s residents mingle with Inverness’s emerging talent. It is the ideal space for those seeking an inspiring work environment, a quiet conversation or simply to enjoy the culture of coffee surrounded by art and living history.
